Most recently, she had the honor to work on And She Could Be Next (POV, 2020), a two-part PBS docuseries about women of color transforming politics from the ground up. Her own short films, inspired by poetic personal essays, provide an intimate look into the world of identity, loss and place.

Inés Vogelfang

Inés Vogelfang is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker and film editor from Argentina. She studied film at The University of Buenos Aires and holds a Master's in Media Studies and Documentary Film Studies from The New School in New York City. She worked for many years for Cable and Public TV Networks in Argentina editing and creating content in the nonfiction field. Her work on documentary features has been supported by Gotham (former IFP labs) and screened at international film festivals like Hamptons Film Festival, Big Sky, DOC NYC, and Venice Film Festival. The Art Of Making It, a feature documentary she co-edited won an audience award at SXSW 2022. Inés was a 2019-20 Karen Schmeer Diversity in The Edit Room fellow and a 2022 Sundance Story & Edit Lab Fellow. She is, according to a protagonist in one of her films, “the lady who decides what goes”, and she speaks Spanish and English with humans and with her bilingual dog Atenas, and also French and Portuguese but these two mostly with just humans.

Ife Olatunji

Ife is a visual anthropologist, documentary filmmaker, and film critic. She holds an MA in Visual Anthropology from the University of Manchester, UK (10) Ife has filmed verite documentary shorts with women and girls in Africa, India, the Caribbean, and South America. Ife has taught documentary film production at the Art Institute of Wisconsin and Facets Multimedia of Chicago. Ife was a DVID fellow for Kartemquin films, and a production assistant for Kindling Group Documentary Films. Ife is currently a film and tv distributor and practicing time artist in Los Angeles. She is interested in editing for non-scripted, documentary films and television.

Irene Yadao is a creative producer, video editor, and writer who has worked behind the scenes on documentaries and narrative films. Most recently, she was a co-producer on the Emmy-nominated documentary Picture a Scientist (Tribeca, 2020), directed by Sharon Shattuck and Ian Cheney, and produced by Manette Pottle. She is a co-founding producer at Paper Tongue Productions, a storytelling collective focused on producing stories about, for, and by female and non-binary BIPOC filmmakers; and she is also a collaborator on Rockland Cinémathèque, whose mission is to showcase and celebrate essential, underrepresented films & BIPOC filmmakers. The daughter of a Native Hawaiian father and a Filipino immigrant mother, Irene’s screenwriting imbues humanity and humor into character driven stories about family dynamics, dislocation, loss, and belonging. As an editor, understanding the heart of the participants is as important as locating the crux of a story. She enjoys finding solutions to editorial challenges and collaborating with directors and producers to tell meaningful and impactful stories.
