Hi there! I’m a documentary editor with a strong background in video journalism. Three years ago I transitioned into freelance after working full time for USA TODAY. Since then I've worked as an AE on 2 seasons of the acclaimed PBS series "Art in the 21st Century" as well as two independent feature documentaries that are currently in post production. In addition to documentaries, I've had the privilege to edit branded campaign videos for various New York City-based nonprofits. One of my long-term career goals is to lead edit an observational, vérité driven feature documentary. Some of my passion project topics surround transracial adoption, attachment theory and what it means to be Asian American in the US South. I am drawn into editing by the challenge and rewarding feeling of crafting a story.
